The chakras are the energetic gates keepers of the body. They are closely related to the spine and correspond with the energetic areas that are the keepers of physical health. They can become blocked and full of energy, thus not allowing energy to smoothly flow throughout the body, in time, there is the potential to cause harm to the health and well-being of the individual. These energetic blocks can, at times, be responsible for physical illness, chronic pain, and emotional distress. Without clearing the chakras, and restoring them to a stable functional state, then the individual can experience all kinds of mood swings, emotional instability, and chronic states of unhealth leading to an endless cycle of pain and discontent. Fortunately, generations of individuals studying many different types of healing have found a way to help others move the energy in their chakras, thereby stabilizing the energy flow and aiding the individual in healing.
Energy Blocks
Energy blocks are the energetic body’s way of protecting itself. Over the years that we walk upon this earth, our human body is exposed to many things. Some of those things create areas of blockage in our energetic body. The emotional blocks that we create in ourselves, often because of traumatic experiences, can often translate to energetic blocks. These blocks, over time, cause a stoppage in the flow of energy, which creates a buildup, and like muscles create trigger points, energy creates physical ailments as well, often experienced as arthritis, irritable bowel syndrome, fibromyalgia, and thyroid issues, to name a few. Therefore, it is essential to work on helping the body heal its energetic flow, so that harmony and joy can become the norm, rather than feeling of despair, depression, anxiety, and fear. Again, over the generations, individuals have found ways to offer healing to those that are suffering, often providing faster relief, over shorter periods of time.
Our Mind
Our brain is an amazing thing. It takes information and stores it and uses it without our being aware of it. It helps us walk, breathe, stay alive, and function, all with minimal effort on our part. However, there are a few things that society has not taught us about our mind, and have, in fact, helped to create harm within ourselves. One fact that society has not taught us is that one thought, one emotion, one energetic impulse in our body lasts about one minute. So, when we sit and cry over something for hours, days, and months, we are in fact creating that emotional angst for ourselves. These things, in turn, become habitual within our brains and body, and often will “kick” on without us ever doing a thing. Especially if we have had these emotions for decades. Trauma will often create this type of endless cycle of harm. The beautiful thing is that there is hope, and energy work offers a way to interrupt these “habit thoughts” and help the sufferer to reprogram the brain, along with the energy; thereby creating a healing.
Trauma
A bit about trauma. The Greek word for trauma means “to wound.” I would like you to imagine that each trauma you have experienced has caused a deep gaping wound, (bear with me here) that would be clear to the bone. Now, typically with an injury like this you go to the emergency room, and they’d stitch you up, bandage your wound, and send you home without ever asking you “how does this make you feel.” That is because they are doing their job and treating the wound. Now, imagine that every time you speak of this ‘trauma’ or share the story with friends, or think about it, or feel something about it, you are digging your fingers into this slowly healing gaping wound. Over time, the wound no longer heals, it festers, or forms scar tissue, or becomes a permanent fixture of harm in your life. All the energy that would normally go toward healing is now focused on creating a protective state for this wound. THAT, in my humble opinion, is harmful. So, you ask how do we heal? Well, we go back to the mind and begin to heal those “habit thoughts” and connect them to the energetic areas that feel blocked, and we work on building a new thought, and create more healing. It begins with empowering yourself to heal. Empowering yourself to overcome the fears, traumas, and anxieties that have kept you bound. It begins with freedom. It begins with a journey to joy. Join me for an 8-week journey to joy, that will set you on the path for healing, giving YOU the power to heal yourself, those around you, and ultimately the world.
